Amelia Island, Florida is one of my family’s favorite travel destinations. We love the beach, the beauty, and the happy, friendly, laid-back atmosphere of the island. It is a really wonderful vacation destination.
So Amelia Island is a great travel destination any time of the year. But it is particularly special during Easter weekend. Especially if you stay at the Omni Amelia Island Resort.
The Omni Amelia Island Resort is a great choice for a vacation. It is a AAA Four Diamond oceanfront resort located. It is 1,350 acres of fun. The resort has championship golf, world-class resort pools, and a full-service spa. You could also get a great view of the ocean from your room.

Perhaps the most popular Easter activity at the Omni Amelia Island Resort is the Easter Brunch at the Sunrise Café at the resort. It takes place on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Easter Egg Hunt
It wouldn’t be Easter without a good Easter Egg Hunt, right? It takes place at 10:15 AM on Sunday, April 17, 2022. Kids are divided among age groups: 5 years old & under, 6 years old to 12 years old, and 13 years old and older. Kids and parents can look for eggs including a golden egg that can win you special prizes.
And the Easter Egg Hunt will have a very special guest: the Easter Bunny! Make sure you catch him hopping around so you can get your photo with him!
Easter Crafts
There are a variety of craft options available, like creating your own ceramic animal.
This takes place all weekend, Friday through Sunday, April 15-17th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Easter Baskets
If you want your kid’s room to have an Easter basket on Easter morning, you can purchase one directly at the resort for $75 per basket. You just need to purchase it by Friday, April 15, 2022. The Easter basket will be delivered to the room on Easter morning from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Golf Specials
Easter is a time of relaxing and a great way to relax and have fun is to play golf. You can take advantage of a great golf special the resort is having for Easter weekend while spending time with your child. Because juniors under the age of 17 can play free at Oak Marsh after 11:00 AM with a paid adult on Friday through Monday during Easter weekend!
Tropical Blossom Ritual
Another way to relax during the Easter weekend can happen at a visit to the resort’s spa. You can purchase a Tropical Blossom Ritual at the spa. This is an exfoliation & massage treatment. It starts with a warmed exfoliant of lemon, cherry blossom, papaya, and rice powder cream. Next is a reflexology foot massage and then there is a relaxing body massage.
Sandcastle Building Contest
Another fun activity that is taking place during Easter weekend is the resort’s Sandcastle Building Contest. It takes place on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 1:00 PM.
Steak Out
Enjoy a great selection of premium cuts of meat at the Marché Burette on April 15th, 16th & 17th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Shrimp & Grits Special
Enjoy the good old southern staple of Shrimp & Grits at Oceanside Restaurant from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022.

The breakfast buffet at Seaglass has a breakfast bowl live action station, breads, fruits, and more. You can go there on Easter Sunday, April 17th, from 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
Shell Shack Brunch at Oceanside
Here you can enjoy a lo’ country crab cake benedict with ocean poached eggs, crab cakes, English muffin & hollandaise sauce. It takes place on Easter Sunday, April 17th, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
