If you are planning a trip to Disney World and you are looking for a hotel, you should consider booking a hotel in the Disney Springs area. These are hotels that are not official Disney World hotels, like All Star Music Resort or Port Orleans: French Quarter, but recent changes have made staying at Disney Springs resorts very, very similar to staying at an official Walt Disney World Resort.
For instance, you can now take advantage of Extra Magic Hours at Disney Springs, where you can get in the Disney theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT & Hollywood Studios) early or late which helps you ride some of the most popular rides at Disney World without as much of a wait. You can also now book fastpass attractions 60 days in advance, which also helps you avoid a wait to some of the more popular Disney World rides, such as the rides at Pandora: World of Avatar, the new Avatar-themed section of Animal Kingdom. And the Disney Springs hotels have busses that run to the Walt Disney World theme parks and water parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon) every 30 minutes, which allows you to go back to your room at any time for a nap, a swim in the pool, etc.
And if you are looking to swim in a great pool, Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs Resort Area would be a great choice because it has 2 sparkling outdoor pools along with a hot tub, beach volleyball court, basketball court & tennis court. There’s also a children’s playground, game room, fitness center (which not all official Disney hotels have), laundry facilities, gift shop, restaurant and an Oasis Bar & Grill by the pool. The hotel even has a Disney Character Breakfast on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday!
My favorite feature of this hotel, though, is that you can walk to Disney Springs. I absolutely love Disney Springs. It has great shopping and wonderful restaurants. The hotel is a 10-minute walk away from Earl of Sandwich, a restaurant I really like at Disney Spring that is much more affordable than dining in the parks, and it’s a 13-minute walk from T-Rex, an amazing Landry’s restaurant with animatronic dinosaurs which is great fun for all ages and has delicious food! You can even use Swagbucks to earn money towards gift cards to Landry’s restaurants so you can eat there for free!
And if you want to save money on Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista, you should book through Tripster, where, if you book your room by November 28, 2019 for a stay between now and November 28, 2019, you can save 20%!
