Disney’s Beach Club Resort at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida is an amazing place to stay any time of the year, but it is extra special around Christmas. We want to tell you about why this hotel is a great place to visit during the holiday season. Then we want to tell you how you can save money on a 2026 holiday stay at the Beach Club!
Beach Club Christmas Carousel
My favorite thing about staying at the Beach Club during the holiday season is the Gingerbread carousel. Every year, the Beach Club puts up an elaborate Gingerbread Carousel display.
There’s so much attention to detail in this beautiful Carousel, and every year is unique. We’ve loved past year’s themes (such as this 2021 Little Mermaid theme).
Last year was special, because the Beach Club was celebrating its 25th year of having a gingerbread carousel in the lobby. We were there when it was getting prepared, which was really special. It was really neat seeing the chefs at work and seeing what goes into putting a masterpiece like this together.

It was almost like getting to see some of my favorite Christmas baking shows from the Food Network in person. This was also a great opportunity to ask the chefs questions and learn something new.
But the finished product is always the best, like Duck Tales themed gingerbread carousel from 2023.
And I strongly suspect 2026 will be no different. When I know the theme, I will let you guys know.
Christmas Treats
If the gingerbread carousel makes you crave something sweet, don’t worry. There are special holiday sweets in the lobby near the carousel for sale. In the past, this has included sweets like:
- Gingerbread Macarons
- Stollen
- Peppermint Bark
- Gingersnap Cookies
- Gingerbread Martini (Contains Alcohol)
- Hot Cocoa
- And more!

Walking Distance to Epcot & Hollywood Studios
Another reason why staying at the Beach Club during the holiday season is that Beach Club is within walking distance of both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays takes place from November 27, 2026 to December 30, 2026. So you’ll be able to walk over to Epcot and enjoy the festivities. You can read more about this event in our International Festival of the Holidays Guide.
There is a special holiday afterhours event at Hollywood Studios that started a few years ago called Jollywood Nights. My family loves it; you can read about in our Jollywood Nights Guide. Being able to walk to and from this event rather than rely on the bus system is really nice.
So that makes staying at Disney’s Beach Club even more appealing during the holiday season.
