So today is the today: SeaWorld Spooktacular is back at SeaWorld theme park in Orlando, Florida!  Yes, the popular, kid-friendly Halloween event is back at SeaWorld Orlando.  It will take place on select dates between now (Saturday, September 16, 2023) and Halloween.

There are a lot of fun activities going on around Key West, Dolphin Theater, Sesame Street Land, and Wild Arctic.  We’ll tell you about all the fun activities that are part of the event.  And then we’ll tell you how you can save money on tickets!

Kids (and us kids at heart) can enjoy trick-or-treating on the trick-or-treat trail at SeaWorld.  It takes place in the Key West section of the park.  This is a really great, safe way to trick-or-treat during the day.  All you need to do in order to trick-or-treat is to purchase a reusable trick-or-treat bag at the entrance of the Trick-or-Treat Trail.

Have you ever met a mermaid?  If you answered yes, first of all, congratulations!  But even if you answered yes, have you ever met a Halloween mermaid?  Well, here is your chance to do just that in the Key West area.

Everyone loves a good pumpkin garden.  Especially one where you could see friendly pumpkin fish.  Or run into the Pumpkin Queen as she reads stories in the garden.

Halloween Cookie Decorating and Kids Crafts

Do your kids love arts and crafts?  Then take them to the area between Sesame Street Land and the Wild Arctic sometime between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM during event days.  Please note that crafts are included in admission, but the cookie decorating kit does cost extra.

Count von Count’s Spooktacular Breakfast

And finally, there is a special event you can do at Spooktacular that costs extra, but can be a really, fun memorable experience.  And that is Count von Count’s Spooktacular Breakfast.  You get to meet Sesame Street characters and enjoy a delicious breakfast.

Because the menu looks really good.  Check out the food they’ve had in the past:

  • Chef carved brown sugar glazed ham
  • Bacon & turkey sausage links
  • Scrambled eggs
  • Western omelet eggs
  • Biscuits and sausage gravy
  • French Toast Sticks
  • Potato tots
  • Freshly baked pastries
  • Oatmeal
  • Freshly cut seasonal fruit
  • Yogurt with a toppings bar
  • Assorted cereals

There is also an assortment of beverages available, like coffee, milk, and juice.

The meal costs $34.99 for adults (ages ten years old and up) and $17.99 for children ages three years old to nine years old.  This is a really good price when you compare it to other meals like this at Disney World.

This breakfast takes place at Seafire Grill.  Click here to book this breakfast.

Costume Contest

Think your kid’s Halloween costume is truly special?  Then come on a Friday during the Spooktacular event and go to the Journey to Atlantis plaza where you can enter the contest.

Discount Tickets

A great thing about SeaWorld’s Spooktacular event is that unlike Howl-O-Scream, admission to the event is included in a general SeaWorld ticket.  That means it’s covered by an annual pass or fun card (as long as you don’t visit on a blockout date for select annual passes or fun card) or a general admission ticket.  And you can get a great price on these tickets by clicking here.
