Good news to the great people of London, Ontario, Canada! The most popular dinosaur event on tour is headed to the Western Fair District Agriplex!
Yes, Jurassic Quest is a really great event. It gives guests a really neat opportunity to feel like they are literally walking among dinosaurs. You get to walk through an exhibit where you see life-size animatronic dinosaurs all around you.
These dinosaurs were created with the consultation of paleontologists, too. So you know you are getting accurate representations of the dinosaurs. Take for example the raptors. They were much smaller than I had thought raptors would be and they even have feathers. Much different from the raptors you see in Jurassic Park (or at Scotiabank Arena during a Toronto Raptors game).
In addition to seeing these dinosaurs, there are videos playing and facts up to help you learn more about these creatures. You’ll learn things like what they ate or where they lived or what period they are from. You really learn a lot.
But before you think it’s just educational, it is also a lot of fun, too. There are fun fossil digs and crafts. There are play areas for the youngest guests. There’s even a live dinosaur experience. So it makes for a fun event you can enjoy with your family, no matter how old your kids or grandkids are or how old you are!
