Great news: a brand new Christmas event is coming to the greater Cincinnati area! In just a couple of weeks, Deck the Y’alls Lightfest will be arriving just 10 minutes south of Downtown Cincinnati in Florence, Kentucky!
Deck the Y’alls Lightfest is a brand new event that takes place at Thomas More Stadium, which is where the Florence Y’alls baseball team plays. But even if you’ve been to a Florence Y’alls baseball game before, you may not be able to recognize the stadium. Because it will be transformed by holiday lights!
Yes, over two million Christmas lights will transform the stadium. You can walk around the stadium and take in the beautiful holiday lights. There are eight immersive-themed displays you and your family can “ooh” and “ah” over.
But that’s not the only way this baseball stadium has been transformed. An outdoor ice rink will be right on the first baseline! Skating there will be a really neat experience.
The activities don’t stop there. There’s a fire pit where you cook s’mores. There’s also other delicious food available. A number of vendors will be at the event, so you can even get some holiday shopping in. Oh, and did I mention that you can meet the big guy himself, Santa Claus? Because I’m pretty sure you or someone in your family would like to meet him!
Deck the Y’alls Lightfest Dates & Hours
The event begins on November 25, 2022. It runs through January 1, 2023. It is open from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday through Thursday, and then from 5:30 to 10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. The operating hours for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day are 5:30 to 9:00 PM. On New Year’s Eve, it is open from 5:30 PM to 12:30 AM. It is also closed on November 28th & 29th as well as on December 5th & 6th.
