Get into the holiday spirit at the Reading Winter Wonderland! Reading Winter Wonderland will be open until 5th January 2025. So now is the time to go if you haven’t already been this winter – or perhaps now is the time to go again!
Reading Winter Wonderland has, after all, been Berkshire’s largest annual Christmas event since 2014. There are so many fun things to do there for both adults and children. It’s a great place to visit with family, friends, a date, etc. It has the feel of a German Christmas market.
That can be seen in the food and drinks. There’s a German bar selling popular German beers. You can get mulled wine. They also sell German sausages imported directly from Germany. They come in three different flavours: original Bratwurst, the Smokey Krakauer, and the cheesy Kasekrainer.
There are other foods and drinks available, too. That includes gourmet burgers, crepes, halloumi fries, chips and dips, hot & cold soft drinks, and more.
Another popular experience at this festival has always been Santa’s Grotto, where children get a magical experience with Santa and the elves. That’s also where you can get personalised Reading Winter Wonderland gifts.
They also have a real ice rink where you can go ice skating! Plus, they have a wide selection of fairground rides.
And finally, this event has great holiday decor, like giant candy canes.
Reading Winter Wonderland takes place at Hills Meadow in Reading. Admission to Reading Winter Wonderland is free, but certain activities do cost extra.
