We are going to tell you about a great dinner show in Chicago. It is a musical mystery based on a real life murder in Chicago. Then we’ll tell you how to save money on it.
The Chicago Mob, known locally as “The Outfit” were prominent in Chicago in the 1920s and 1930s. There was gangland violence, most notably the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre in 1929.
Step inside the landmark restaurant of award winning Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse. The building was once owned by and home to Frank Nitti, Al Capone’s hitman. You can take in the dinner theater show, “Nitti’s Supper Club.”
You can travel back in time for dinner to a show based on the real life murder of Eddie O’Hare. This interactive show is filled with historical anecdotes, laughs, audience interaction and musical productions. You’ll take on the role of partygoer at Frank Nitti’s birthday party and look into the murder of “Easy Eddie” O’Hare. He was Al Capone’s lawyer and the father of war hero Butch O’Hare for whom the airport was named. The case was never solved.
After the show, you’ll be given a guided tour of Nitti’s vault and what was discovered in it. That was Nitti’s personal address book listing addresses and phone numbers for powerful government officials and mobsters. And you’ll get to meet the talented cast.
