Fitzgerald’s in Berwyn, Illinois, in the greater Chicago area, has been a gathering place since it was constructed in the early 1900s. Since 1980, it’s been a nightclub with a national reputation for great live music in a casual atmosphere. It also has a corner building that houses Fitzgerad’s Sidebar, a neighborhood cocktail lounge.
Fitzgerald’s Nightclub hosts a wide array of music from country to jazz. It’s known by many as a roots rock club with a special love for music from Louisiana and Texas.
Environmental Encroachment Brass Band
So it should come as no surprise that Fitzgerald’s will be celebrating Mardi Gras on March 4, 2025, at 6 pm in Fitzgerald’s Sidebar. The Environmental Encroachment Brass Band will be performing a New Orleans inspired set.
Environmental Encroachment Brass Band (EE) is a brass band and performance art group. They use a mobile band, costumes, circus theatrics and antics to create unique entertainment.

WDCB Fat Bluesday Tuesday
On March 4, 2025, in the Fitzgerald’s Nightclub you can see WDCB Fat Bluesday Tuesday with host Tim Marker: Rick King’s Royal Hustle Mardi Gras Celebration.
A Southside native, Rick King has played drum set for Chuck Berry, B.B. King, Bo Diddley and more. Expect to hear New Orleans Funk mixed in with Chicago ues, Memphis Soul and Kingston Reggae.
Tom Marker hosts “Blues Time.” He’s been playing the blues since 1975 on Chicago radio. Tom hosts the WDCB’s monthly Bluesday Tuesday live performance that’s simulcast the first Tuesday of every month at Fitzgerald’s Nightclub.
