Ringler’s Stampede Rodeo is returning to Brook Park this summer. Everyone can look forward to two weekends of adrenaline pumping rodeo excitement.
The rodeo will be in Brook Park the second weekend in July, July 12 to 14, 2024. It will return the second weekend in August, August 9 to 11, 2024.
There will be Midway games to enjoy as well as delicious Midway food. The little ones can enjoy pony rides. There will be daytime tours of Ringling House on Haunted Hill Haunted Trail. Local entertainment and attractions will add to the fun of watching a professional rodeo.
The rodeo will begin at 7 pm on Friday and Saturday nights in July and August and at 1 pm on Sunday in both months.
A rodeo isn’t just competitions. It is a celebration of courage, skill and heritage that will entertain all ages.
Attractions
At the Ringler Stampede Rodeo, you’ll see
Bull Riding
Cowboys must ride a bucking bull for a turbulent eight seconds.
Bronco Riding
A 200 lb. man on a 1,000 lb. bucking bronco – see what will happen.
Bareback Riding
With absolutely the minimum of rigging, the rider must stay on the horse for eight long seconds.
Calf Roping
Man vs. Calf
Team Roping
2 cowboys – a header and a heeler – have to have precision timing and coordination to catch the steer’s head and hind legs.
Steer Wrestling
A cowboy leaps from his galloping horse onto a steer and tries to use the correct leverage and strength to flip the steer to its side.
Barrel Racing
Cowboys on horses must navigate a clover leaf pattern of barrels. The fastest cowboy not hitting the barrels wins.
Ladies Breakaway Roping
Cowgirls compete on horseback to rope a calf with the quickest time winning.
