Branson, Missouri is a popular city to visit during the holiday season. There are a lot of great Christmas shows, like Christmas Wonderland and the Andy Williams Christmas Show. And there are beautiful decorations. Like the gorgeous holiday lights.
But if you are looking for some truly spectacular Christmas lights, then you should head to the Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru!
Lights of Joy is a holiday light drive-thru experience at the Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and Expressway Lane intersection. You get to drive through a 1.5-mile path through holiday lights that create gorgeous holiday scenes on both sides of the road.
This year, the scenes are all brand new, too. But (spoiler alert!) you get to enjoy traditional scenes like a Nativity Scene, the Twelve Days of Christmas, and lots of Santa. But you even get a Christmas in Outer Space scene! These displays are fun for kids and adults – which makes it the perfect Christmas family vacation idea. The whole ride takes around 20 to 30 minutes.
Every Friday and Saturday, you can get a picture with Santa Claus. And for an additional fee, you can also purchase hot cocoa.
This Christmas experience began in November. It will run through January 7, 2024. It is open from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM every night.
