The HIP-ICON 2026 Convention will be opening in Baltimore on August 29 and 30, at the Safari Night Club.
On Friday night there will be an exclusive meet & greet experience. It is a limited capacity, pre-convention event to connect with the special guests.
Saturday is the start of the convention with gaming lounges, DJ sets, vendor areas with unique items and cosplay contests. The hours on Saturday are from 1 pm to 7 pm.
Sunday is family General Admission as a youth friendly experience giving access to gaming, anime and music for kids and teens aged 5 to 17 with adult accompaniment required. The hours on Sunday are from 1 pm to 7 pm.
There will be more than 30 DJs at the convention. These will include

- Lord Finess
- DJ Reese, the youngest professional DJ in America
Voice actors will also be special guests at HIP-ICON. Dennis MacDonald, Okie Banks, Tek of Smif-N-Wesson, to name a few.
Hip Hop and Culture Cosplay is encouraged. The Cosplay Contests will have cash and other prizes.
The Weekend Pass for 1 Adult includes full convention access on Saturday and Sunday, entry to the Friday night Meet & Greet and access to the gaming Lounge, DJ sets, cosplay contests and vendors areas. It also includes a custom badge with your name on it if purchased during presale.
Sunday Family General Admission for 1 Youth (ages 5 to 17) to the gaming, anime and music zones on Sunday. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.
