Step back in time to the 1980s and start off 2022 in high style at a New Year’s Day Prom Party. Grab your MC Hammer pants, your special someone and your friends and head out to the Westin Hotel Copley Place to juggle decades.
Boston Event Guide is throwing a New Year’s Day Prom Party featuring Fast Times & Live Video DJ (think MTV). Relive your prom night and dace to the great hits from the 80s and 90s in the Westin Hotel’s Grand Ballroom.
Fast Times is an 80s tribute band. They are a total 80s extravaganza of non-stop high energy, full costumes and top notch performances. They will perform at 9 pm.
Dress festively like you did for your prom. Those not dressed festively will be turned away. You’ll be given prom style party favors, including tiaras and party hats.
Dinner
You can enjoy Dinner North End from 7 pm to 8 pm. There will be a cash bar, Dinner Stations and reserved seating. The Dinner Stations include

- Chopped Caesar Salad with croutons and Parmesan cheese

- Coffee Braised Short Ribs, turnips, brunnoise peppers, red wine

From 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm, there will be a Tuscan Table Appetizer Reception with dancing and party favors. This includes

- Assorted Italian Meats, including mortadella, speck, Rosetta de Lyon, sopressata, porchetta and salame
- Grilled Fresh Vegetables
- Fresh mozzarella, marinated olives, cured tomato, peppadew peppers, artichokes, fennel
- Ciabatta, bread sticks, onion focaccia
The Prom will be from 9 pm to 2 am. Fast Times will be covering the hits of the 80s. DJs Tommy and Peter will be mixing your favorite tunes from the 90s and 00s plus today’s top dance music. Dance the first night of 2022 away!
There will be plenty of cash bars with cocktails, beer, wine and champagne available for purchase. Relive the good old days while celebrating the arrival of 2022.
