The 2026 NY Yankees Harry Potter Night takes place on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. This is when the Yankees take on the Pittsburgh Pirates. The game starts at 7:05 PM.
But you are going to want to get there earlier than then. That is because the first 18,000 guests get a free Aaron Judge Harry Potter House Bobblehead! There are four different versions of the bobblehead: one for Slytherin, one for Gryffindor, one for Ravenclaw, and one for Hufflepuff.
The website says which house you get is picked by random. But, they probably just say that for the muggles, right? We know the sorting hat has to be involved. So if you’ve ever wondered what house you would get sorted into if you attended Hogwarts, you don’t have to wonder anymore. And you won’t even have to use this sorting hat you can actually purchase (though that is really fun, actually).
So if you haven’t gotten your ticket yet, you’ll want to get yours ASAP before the game sells out. You can find a good price for a ticket here.
Harry Potter Attractions in New York City
The New York Yankees Harry Potter Day isn’t the only Harry Potter attraction in the New York City area. There is a Harry Potter store at 22nd St between 5th Ave and Broadway. You can also go catch the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child over at the Lyric Theatre in Times Square. It is a play set nineteen years after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. In the play, Harry Potter is now the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic, and his son Albus is about to attend his first year at Hogwarts.
