Speed Raceway Horsham
Want a fun, indoor go-karting experience. Want one that’s eco-friendly, too? You can get all that and more at the Speed Raceway. It is located in Horsham, Pennsylvania near downtown Philadelphia. It’s convenient to communities in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.
Go-Karting
You can enjoy go-karting at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour. You’ll get to go-kart on one of two European-style go-kart tracks. If you are a speed junkie or a thrill-seeker, you will definitely enjoy Speed Raceway.
And as I said, it’s totally eco-friendly. You’ll race around the track in environmentally-friendly, emission-free electric karts.
You can complete a safety-training course. Upon completion, you actually get an annual racing license! Once this is complete, you can put on a helmet and tests your skills over 14 adrenaline-pumping laps. Please note you must be at least 12 years old and at least 56” tall for the adult karts. For junior karts, you have to be at least 6 years old and at least 48” tall. With its adult and junior kart options, Speed Raceway makes for a nice family activity.
Axe Throwing
Go-Karting isn’t the only attraction at the Speed Raceway. You can also enjoy axe-throwing! Embrace your inner lumberjack and try your hand at axe throwing.
If you’ve never done it before, no problem The onsite coaches will show you the basics of battle axe throwing techniques. They’ll also explain all the axe throwing rules. Then you’ll learn how to aim at the target. You can earn points depending on where your axe lands.
But if you already have experience axe throwing, you will still have fun. The onsite coaches can teach you new tips and tricks.
