The highly acclaimed new production of the legendary Miss Saigon is coming to the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. This epic, award-winning musical tells the tale of a doomed romance between an Asian woman, Kim, who was abandoned by her American lover during the last days of the Vietnam War. Kim then spends years trying to find her lover, who is unaware he fathered a son.
A modern retelling of Puccini’s Madame Butterfly, Miss Saigon features stunning sets and sweeping anthems. At one point, a life-sized helicopter hovers just above the stage. Hear iconic songs like “The Heat Is On In Saigon,” “The Movie In My Mind” and “Last Night of the World.”
