The Horrorland: Drive-Thru Haunted Attraction
Halloween may be a bit different since, well, it’s 2020. But that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy getting spooked. And that’s why I am so excited to tell you about Horrorland.
Horrorland is South Florida’s very first drive-thru haunted attraction! The idea came from the mind of the brilliant Francisco Santos. He’s a Cirque du Soleil veteran who has more than 20 years of experience in the entertainment business.
I myself love the idea. It’s an amazing way for you to have the same thrills and scares as you would in a normal haunted house you might have gone to in the past. But given the current pandemic, this is so much safer. You can do it from the safety of your car.
But the scares will definitely still be there! The Horrorland: Drive-Thru Haunted Attraction is a truly immersive horror experience. There are six different themed passages. You will be surprised by zombies, monsters, ghosts, and other scary creatures as you drive through. And watch out for other surprises, too!
The Horrorland: Drive-Thru Haunted Attraction takes place in Miramar, Florida, part of the Miami area.
As I said, this is the safest way to do a haunted house. But there are som additional rules to keep you safe. Trailers, motocrycles, and ATVs are not allowed. The speed limit is 3 miles an hour or less – so no speeding off when you get scared! You also won’t be able to leave your vehicle, and everyone in the vehicle must wear a seatbelt. Also, in order to ensure everyone can have fun, make sure you turn off your headlights and turn your lights to dim.
