Celebrate the New Year by digging into the world’s largest MoonPie cake, weighing in at 600 pounds in Mobile, Alabama.  Get your piece of the pie on December 31, 2024, in Mobile’s New Year’s Eve celebration!

Mobile has a one of a kind New Year’s Eve celebration.  And it’s free!  What could be better than that?

Mobile New Year’s Eve Schedule

11 am to 1 pm – Kids Zone in Mardi Gras Park

There will be a mini resolution wall, bounce houses and New Year’s Eve arts and crafts.  The kids can ring in 2025 at noon with their MoonPie Drop

4 pm – Resolution Wall in Renaissance Riverview Hotel Plaza Courtyard

Write down your New Year’s resolution and hang it on the wall. 

6:30 pm – DJ Dalton Muse

DJ Dalton Muse will be on the Main Stage playing between acts until 12:30 am.

7 pm – DJ Blayze

DJ Blayze will be playing on the Main Stage.  He’ll keep the party going before, after and in between the musical performances.

7:30 pm – Best Decorated Umbrella Contest in the Renaissance Riverview Hotel Plaza Courtyard

The Port City Second Liners will be performing featuring the Jukebox Brass Band in the Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel Courtyard

7:30 pm – The Port City Second Liners

The Port City Second Liners will be performing in the Renaissance Riverview Hotel Plaza Courtyard, featuring the Jukebox Brass Band.

7:45 pm – Cutting of the MoonPie in the Courtyard

March from Renaissance Riverview Courtyard to the Main Stage, led by elected officials.  Bring a Mardi Gras umbrella and join the parade.

8:30 pm – Opening Remarks

Opening remarks are at the Main Stage

8:45 pm – Opening Act

The opening act is The Jukebox Brass Band on the Main Stage

9:30 pm – Headliners

Headliners will perform on the Main Stage, including Grayson Capps and Clint Black.

12 am – Countdown and MoonPie Drop on the Main Stage
