The 9th annual Atlanta BBQ Festival is coming to Atlanta Station on May 5 and 6, 2018. It is a celebration of the South’s best BBQ cooking. More than 30 professional competitive BBQ teams from across the South will compete in the Cook Off for trophies and cash prizes. Atlanta’s leading BBQ restaurants will be serving up their specialties for purchase. Participating restaurants include J.D.’s Bar-B-Q, John & Nick’s Bar-B-Q, Pit Boss BBQ, Sweet Auburn Barbecue, Williamson Bros Bar-B-Q and more. Watch the teams in the Cook Off and then samples of their work will be available for purchase. There will be live entertainment. The musical line up includes Kevin Lewis Band, Sucker Punch and One Headlight. There will be cooking demonstrations and you can learn tricks and techniques from top Pitmasters and restaurant chefs. Children will have fun in the interactive children’s area.
