Located just an hour northwest of Austin in the Central Texas Hill Country, Inks Lake State Park is great for a day trip or a weekend getaway.  The park is 1,200 acres with 3 miles of shoreline at Inks Lake.  The lake is surrounded by granite hills with colorful rock outcrops.

Spend the day at the lake swimming, floating, boating, water skiing, water tubing, scuba diving, snorkeling and more.  A large no-wake zone has been set aside for paddling.  There are 2 fishing piers, fish cleaning stations and a boat ramp.  Angers enjoy fishing for bass, sunfish, crappie and catfish.  You can save money on rods & reels by clicking here.
