This year, Valentine’s Day falls on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.  So that means there are a lot of fun things to do the whole weekend leading up to Valentine’s Day (and the Monday before, too).  Especially if you live in or are visiting Nashville, Tennessee this Valentine’s Day weekend.

So we came up with our list of the best things to do in Nashville on Valentine’s Day.

1. Nashville Predators Valentine’s Day Game

The Nashville Predators NHL hockey team plays at home at Bridgestone Arena the day before Valentine’s Day, on February 13, 2023, at 7:00 PM.  So they are having a Valentine’s Day-themed game!  You can buy a ticket for the game here.

2. Rubiks Groove Valentines Spectacular!!

Rubiks Groove is a premier 80s & 90s Tribute Band.  They not only play some of the best music of the era from everything from rock to hip hop.  But they also provide a complete 360-degree interactive experience.  This includes live music, characters, costumes, and videos.

Rubiks Groove is putting on a Valentine’s Spectacular performance the Friday before Valentine’s Day, on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 8:00 PM at 3rd and Lindsley.  You can buy a ticket for this event here.

3. Candlelight: Valentine’s Day Special featuring “Romeo and Juliet” & More

Candlelights are live, multi-sensory musical experiences.  There is a special Candlelight performance this year in honor of Valentine’s Day.  The Listeso String Quartet will be playing romantic songs fitting of Valentine’s Day.  This includes:

  • Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet (Nino Rota)
  • Fantasy Overture from Romeo and Juliet (Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky)
  • My Heart Will Go On from Titanic (James Horner)
  • Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffany’s (Henry Mancini)
  • O Mio Babbino Caro from Gianni Schicchi (Giacomo Puccini)
  • Gabriel’s Oboe from The Mission (Ennio Morricone)
  • Méditation from Thaïs (Jules Massenet)
  • Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana (Pietro Mascagni)
  • String Quartet No. 2 in D Major: III. Notturno: Andante (Alexander Borodin)
  • Clair de Lune, L.32 (Claude Debussy)
  • Libertango (Astor Piazzolla)
  • Serenade for Strings in E Minor, Op. 20: II. Larghetto (Edward Elgar)

This takes place on February 10, 2023.  There are two different shows you can choose from, 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM.  You can buy a ticket here.

4. Nashfeels: Lovers & Friends Pt.2 (R&Bsides)

Nashfeels is a theme-based DJ experience that is described as “more than just a party.”  They get the most talented underground DJs who are known locally and nationally.  And each one has a unique theme.

In honor of Valentine’s, they have a lovers’ theme on Friday, February 10, 2023.  The event takes place from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM at the Brooklyn Bowl.  You can get a ticket here.

5. Galentine’s Day Drag Brunch

Nashville diva Vidalia Anne Gentry hosts an amazing Galentine’s Day Drag Brunch at the Common Clubs at Virgin Hotels Nashville.  It takes place from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 12, 2023.  You can enjoy all your brunch favorites while getting fabulous performances and spot-on lip-synching.

6. Andrea Bocelli in Concert for Valentine’s

Get your Valentine’s weekend started early on Thursday, February 9, 2023.  You see, Andrea Bocelli returns to the United States for his Valentine’s Tour you are sure to love!  He’ll be at Bridgestone Arena on February 9th.  You can buy a ticket here.

7. Grand Ole Opry
