Downtown Oktoberfest is on East Fremont Street and between 5th and 7th Streets. It will bring Bavarie to the heart of Sin City.
You’ll find an extensive selection of both German and local beers. Attendees can sample classic lagers, wheat beers, pilsners plus seasonal Oktoberfest brews. Many breweries offer tasting paddles as well as full pours.
Vendors at the festival will be serving a wide array of authentic German food favorites. Enjoy bratwurst, brat dog, pork knuckles, schnitzel, schnitzel sandwich, sauerkraut, pretzels, German potato salad, cheese curds, tater tots/loaded Flammekueche, brat plates and more. Savor desserts like black forest cake, apple strudel, bread pudding and apple fritter. Some stalls will offer modern twists on traditional German recipes and add local Las Vegas flavors.
Live entertainment is a highlight of Oktoberfest. Listen all day to oompah bands, DJs, folk dancers and local musicians.

- Stein Hoisting – Free to compete with minutes of pain and a lifetime of bragging rights
- Dachshund Derby has a Dog Costume Parade & Costume Contest plus racing. You’ll see tutus and tiny lederhosen. It’s $25 to enter your dachshund. It’s $10 to enter any breed in the costume contest. It’s free to watch.
- Keg Bowling – Roll a full sized keg straight down the lane and try to knock over the stack of kegs at the end. It’s loud, it’s reckless and makes little sense but it’s a lot of fun!
