Pure horror will be creeping into Sacramento on January 21, 2023. Horror will splatter the big screen at the historic Colonial Theatre.
Do you enjoy being scared to death? Well, if you do, then you’re really going to love this festival!
This is the 16th installment of the Sacramento Horror Film Festival. This festival will feature many carefully curated horror films, and special guests in the industry. You’ll also see inspired horrifying performances by the area’s best performers.
On the same evening at no additional cost, you’ll get the 9th edition of Love Horror Short Film Festival. You’ll see dozens of curated short horror films, each one being more horrific than the last one. It blends performance art with horror shorts.
Be sure to bring your besties with you. You will scream, giggle, laugh and tremble as you hold on to each other for dear life. You may sleep with the light on for the next month, but you will have fun!
These festivals are hosted by Bloody Bethy. They are presented by Love Horror Events. The festivals begin at 1 pm and go until LATE.

The festivals are more than just watching one film after another. Love Horror Events inserts live music, performance art, interactive games, costume contests and comedy between the films.
