Keller’s Farmstead in Oswego, Illinois has a corn maze & other fun fall festivities near Chicago. We tell you how to save money on a visit with a coupon.
But before I tell you about the coupon, let me back up a bit and tell you about the history of Keller’s Farmstead, because I think it’s rather interesting. Their family story in America begins when Adam Keller immigrated from Germany to Naperville, Illinois, where he purchased land along River Road in 1852. This new farm is where Frank Keller grew up. Keller eventually began farming on a new Ogden Avenue farm. Then in 1991, Keller’s Farmstand officially began. It started with a small cart on the Naperville farm’s driveway. But eventually, it became a large farmstand standing on their original farm soil.
It is still around today, and it is a wonderful place to visit during autumn. There are a lot of fun fall activities you can do here. You can visit the farm on Saturdays and Sundays. It opened today (September 12, 2026). It will run through October 25, 2026 (it is also open on Monday, October 12, 2026).
The biggest highlight may be the corn maze. This year, they have a 12-acre corn maze. Every year, the theme is different. This year, the theme is “The Mad Doctor”.
Want a smaller maze? They’ve got those, too. They have a three-acre miniature corn maze themed to “Minotaur”. They also have a 2-acre grass maze, this one themed to “The Sun, the Moon, the Stars and a Cow”.
While you are there, you can also visit the Oswego Apple Orchard. Every weekend, different apples will be available. You can even sign up for Apple Alert texts so you’ll know when your favorite kinds of apples are available.
Other activities you can enjoy at the festival include
- Wagon rides
- Tire stack for climbing
- Big Barn Playhouse with lots of slides
- Antique tractors where you can sit and take photos
- Pedal bike races
- Farm animals
- Barnyard Ball & other games
- And more!
You can enjoy all of those activities, along with the mazes, with a weekend activity wristband. To save money on the weekend activity wristband, keep reading.
