Have you been to the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival yet this year? Well, I hope you do, because this may be the best one yet!
A lot of the best topiaries are back. And there are new great topiaries as well.
So this year, we decided to share with you our list of the 20 best topiaries. We polled family members, counted up points on spreadsheets, and then made this video to show you what our favorite ones were.
But now I am going to tell you what we loved about these topiaries and why they made the list. So read what we have to say and see if you agree. And then at the end, we’ll give you some money-saving tips for visiting the 2022 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
20. Lumiere & Cogsworth
If you loved Disney’s animated classic Beauty and the Beast like my family does, then you’ll love the Lumiere and Cogsworth topiaries. I am just so amazed at how they get the facial expressions on them. I love the way they did the swinging pendulum on him. It’s just so creative!
You can find these topiaries in the France Pavilion of the World Showcase.
Closest Outdoor Kitchen
The closest outdoor kitchen to these topiaries would be Fleur de Lys, a favorite of my family. Our favorite food item from this kitchen is the Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre, Herbes et Ail Rôtie. They also have great drinks, whether you want beer, a cocktail, wine, or even a spiked Frozen Slushy.
19. Anna and Elsa
Anna and Elsa from the popular Disney classic Frozen are back at the festival! They are still at the Norway Pavilion, but this time they are a bit closer to the Frozen Ever After ride. I’ve always been impressed by how these topiaries capture their hairstyles.
Closest Outdoor Kitchen
There is actually not an outdoor kitchen at Norway, but you can quickly get to the China Pavilion. There, you can find the Lotus House outpost. You can eat Mala Chicken Skewer or House-made Cheesy Crab Wontons. They’ve got great alcoholic drinks, like Jasmine Draft Beer, Kung Fu Punch, and Tang Dynasty. And they also have a non-alcoholic drink, Rose Bubble Milk Tea.
18. Pumbaa and Timon
Who doesn’t love Pumbaa and Timon from The Lion King? They are such memorable secondary characters that they get their own topiaries in addition to the main Lion King characters (more on them later). Their topiaries are great – and I love the flowers by them, too. You can find them between Imagination! and the Land.
Closest Outdoor Kitchen
The closest outdoor kitchen would have to be Flavor Full Kitchen, which is between Imagination! and the Refreshment Post. This one is special in that their drink offerings (Blood Orange Agua Fresca and Cookie Butter Worms and Dirt) are non-alcoholic. They also offer food options, like Corn on the Cob with a Savory Garlic Spread.
17. Tinkerbell
Tinker Bell is such an iconic character in the Disney verse. So it is fitting she gets her own topiary.
I like how she is smaller and just fits in among the flowers and garden of the United Kingdom Pavilion. I also like the beautiful natural setting she is in.
Closest Outdoor Kitchen
Cider House is an outdoor food and drink in the United Kingdom Pavilion and is therefore very close to the Tinker Bell topiary. They’ve got a lot of great drink options here, as well as food. I in particular like the BLT Scone.
16. Figment
One of my earliest memories as a child was riding the Journey into Imagination ride at Epcot. I loved Figment and loved the Figment doll I brought home from the trip.
So you can only imagine the smile it puts on my face to see the Figment topiary at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. Which is precisely why he made the list of my family’s favorite topiaries.
Naturally, you can find this topiary at the front of the Imagination Pavilion.
Closest Outdoor Kitchen
This topiary is also close to Flavor Full Kitchen. Flavor Full Kitchen has non-alcoholic drinks and three food menu items (Corn on the Cob, Seared Verlasso Salmon, and Strawberry Mousse).
15. Woody, Bo Beep & Her Sheep
Woody, Bo Beep & Her Sheep are great topiaries and a great example of the attention to detail that goes into all of the topiaries. Bo Peep and Woody are of course done so well. Woody in particular, there is so much detail in his oufit. And the bonnet on Bo Peep is especially impressive.
But it goes further than that. You’ve got the sheep. And then the blocks, which is so perfect for a Toy Story scene.
14. Bambi and Friends
One of my family’s favorite parts of the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is the butterfly house. You can see the most beautiful butterflies inside.
This year, it is called Bambi’s Butterfly House. And while you are waiting in line to go in the butterfly house, you can marvel at the beautiful Bambi-themed topiaries. They’ve got Bambi, Thumper, Flower the skunk. The attention to detail in these topiaries is so great. I particularly like the smile on Bambi’s face.

Probably the closest special food & drink market near Bambi’s Butterfly House would be Flavor Full Kitchen. Once again, you can get non-alcoholic drinks and food here like Strawberry Mouse with Chocolate Crisp Pearls.
13. Miss Piggy & Kermit the Frog
Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog are back at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. In the past, you might have remembered them being near the United Kingdom Pavilion. But now, you can find them at the Germany Pavilion.
I love all the suitcases Miss Piggy is sitting on and how they match the nearby flowers and her gloves. I also love how they have Kermit riding a bike. So much attention to detail was put into these topiaries and that left me so impressed.

The nearest outpost would have to be the German-themed Bauernmarkt. This is a favorite of my family’s. We reviewed this market here.
12. Pluto and Chip ‘n’ Dale
In the middle of the American Pavilion is a great topiary scene of classic Disney characters. You can see Pluto and Chip ‘n’ Dal among beautiful flowers. They are great topiaries. I especially like the flowers around Pluto’s neck.

There is a specialty market in the American Pavilion, and that is Magnolia Terrace. They’ve got a Bayou Cocktail and craft beer from American craft breweries (like Wicked Weed Brewing in Asheville, North Carolina, Parish Brewing Co. in Broussard, Louisiana, and 81Bay Brewing Co9. in Tampa, Florida). They also have some great Southern and Louisiana favorites. My favorite menu items is the Grilled Oysters with Cajun butter.
11. Pandas
My family absolutely loves the pandas at the China Pavilion. First of all, they are so adorable! But also, they fit in so well with the Pavilion. It makes for a wonderful photo opportunity to see them with the China Pavilion in the background.
Nearest Outdoor Kitchen
The closest market would the appropriately-themed Chinese-influenced market, Lotus House. You’ll love the creative drinks here, like the Kung Fu Punch (made of Smirnoff Vodka, Mango, Triple Sec, Orange Juice, and Soda Water) and Tang Dynasty (made with Jose Cuervo Especial Tequila Gold, Light Rum, Strawberry, White Boba Pearls, Pina Colada Mix, and Soda Water).
10. Winnie the Pooh & Friends
You can fittingly find the Winnie the Pooh characters in the United Kingdom Pavilion. Winnie the Pooh is there but also Piglet, Rabbit, Eeyore, and Tigger. I love the attention to detail here, like how Rabbit is holding carrots. The Tigger topiary especially really captures the spirit of the character.

The closest market would have to be Cider House in the United Kingdom Pavilion. They have a particularly good number of drinks available here, like Samuel Smith Old Brewery Pure Brewed Organic Lager from Tadcaster in North Yorkshire, England.
9. The Three Caballeros
I love the Mexico boat ride and how The Three Caballeros are featured in it. And I think the topiaries do these great characters justice. I love how they are singing and the maraca Donald Duck is holding. And Donald Duck is so cute!
It is appropriately by the Mexican Pavilion.
Nearest Outdoor Kitchen
The nearest outdoor kitchen might be Jardin de Fiestas in the Mexico Pavilion. As you would expect, you can get unique Mexican dishes here, like Enchilada de Mole Negro, Taco Vampiro, and Tostada de Chorizo. You can also get Craft Mexican Lager and margaritas here, too, which may be the main reason you’ll want to head there!
8. Dragon
The dragon is another topiary that is not a Disney character but fits super well with its pavilion. It is located in the Japan Pavilion. It makes for a wonderful photo since you can get the dragon right in front of the beautiful Itsukushima Shinto Shrine replica.
The attention to detail and the complexity of the design of the topiary are just breathtaking. This is definitely one you will want to see for yourself at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival.

The nearest outdoor kitchen would be the Japnese-themed Hanami. You can get special Japanese dishes like Chicken Yakitori and Beef Tataki. You can also get some great drinks, like Yuzu Tilted Tonic Hard Seltzer and Ozeki Pineapple Nigori Sake.
7. Peter Pan, Captain Hook & Tick Tock Croc
The topiary scene of Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and the crocodile are so great.
First of all, the crocodile is awesome. I in particular love the eyes and the tongue.
And then I love how Peter Pan and Captain Hook are engaged in a sword fight.
This is located between the Canadian Pavilion and the United Kingdom Pavilions.
Nearest Outdoor Market
You could head to Cider House in the United Kingdom. Or you could walk over to the Nothern Bloom market in Canada. My family really loves the food there, like the Seared Scallops, Beef Tenderloin Tips, and the Griddled Maple Pound Cake.
6. Simba and Friends
So you know how I mentioned earlier there were other The Lion King characters on display here? Well, you can see it in the Simba and Friends topiaries which features the iconic lift scene. These topiaries are great and you will definitely want to see them.
Nearest Outdoor Market
These topiaries are between the Imagination! Pavilion and the Land Pavilion. Once again, the nearest market would be the Flavor Full Kitchen. That’s where you can get inventive non-alcoholic drinks and food like Seared Verlasso Salmon with Farro Risotto and Micro Herbs.
5. Lady and the Tramp
There is so much to love about The Lady and The Tramp topiaries. First of all, its adorable. And the attention to detail with these dogs is so amazing. Lady in particular impressed me.
But then the topiaries are even better because they are surrounded by the Garden Italiano display at the Italian Pavilion of the World Showcase. So this is something you will want to check out if you are in the Italian Pavilion.

There is an Italian-themed outdoor kitchen called Primavera Kitchen near these topiaries. This is a great outdoor kitchen, especially because of the sheer volume of drinks they sell here. This includes Chianti, Pinot Grigo, Prosecco, Rosa Regale, Moscata, Italian Margarita, Italian Red Sangria & White Sangria, and more. You can also get delicious food like Ravioli alla Boscaiola.
4. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Huey, Dewey & Louie
What’s better than seeing one classic Disney character in a topiary display? How about seeing a bunch of characters altogether?
And that’s what you can do with this topiary display. You get to see Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and everyone’s favorite set of triplet ducks, Huey, Dewey, and Louie.
3. Sorcerer Mickey Mouse, Brooms, Ostriches, Hippo & Gator
As a kid, I was fascinated by Fantasia. The dancing hippos was one of my favorite scenes.
I really love the topiary scenes dedicated to Fantasia. You get to see Sorcerer Mickey here. And you also get to see the aforementioned dancing hippos along with brooms, ostriches, and the gator. This is such an iconic topiary scene which is why it ranks so high on the list.
This is located on the Bridge to World Showcase.

The closest outdoor kitchen would probably be the Pineapple Promenade. You can alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks here featuring (what else?) pineapples! A spicy hot dog with Pineapple Chutney is also available here. And as you would expect at Disney World, you can get DOLE Whip here!
2. Beauty and the Beast
You didn’t think Lumiere and Cogsworth would make the list and not the titular characters, did you well? Well, Disney does a great job with the topiaries of Beauty and the Beast. Not only are the topiaries beautiful.
But my favorite part of the topiary is the expression on Belle’s face. She is looking at the Beast with such love in her eyes. I am so impressed that the Disney Horticulture team was able to display this plot point with their work.
Beauty and the Beast is one of my all-time favorite Disney movies, too. So it is only fitting these topiaries ranked so high on our list.
Like with Lumiere and Cogsworth, you can find these topiaries in the France Pavilion.
Nearest Outdoor Kitchen
Fleur de Lys is the French-themed market in the France Pavilion. You can get dishes like Pan Bagnat Classique, Salade de Lentilles a la Lyonnaise, and Beignets. They also fittingly have a great alcoholic drink collection.
1. Snow White & the Seven Dwarves
So appearing first on this list is not something we at Green Vacation Deals take lightly. A lot of thought went into this appearance.
But I think when you see these topiaries, you can see why. The attention to detail is just so amazing. They do such a great job displaying the different personalities of all the dwarves. Dopey in particular is my favorite. The sweetness and innocence of his character really comes across in the topiary. I also really love Snow White’s skirt.
You can find these topiaries in the German Pavilion.
