A visit to Disney Springs makes a wonderful addition to a Walt Disney World trip in Orlando, Florida. You don’t need a ticket or park reservation to enter Disney Springs, and you’ll find a number of fantastic shopping, dining and entertainment options.

Disney Springs is constantly adding limited time culinary creations and treats for special occasions. And March is no exception!

In honor of Women’s History Month, a number of Disney Springs restaurants have added a special dish, dessert or drink to their menus. These specialty offerings will only be available during the month of March (from March 1st through March 31st).

Read on to see what’s available this month. And then get some tips for your Disney World vacation!

Amorette’s Patisserie

This French bakery is located in the Town Center area of Disney Springs. They are well known for their signature cakes – and you can even take a cake decorating class in the morning!

  • Mardi Gras Petit Cake
    • Layers of bourbon-caramel mousse, cinnamon cream cheese mousse, salted praline crunch, and vanilla chiffon

D-Luxe Burger

  • Bánh Mì Burger
    • D-Luxe special blend patty, Napa cabbage slaw, hoisin pork belly, cilantro, and jalapeño jam, with a house-made bun

Frontera Cocina

The Mexican restaurant can be found in Town Center.

  • Frida Margarita
    • Rose petal liqueur, pomegranate cordial, lemon juice, and Casa Dragones Blanco Tequila, served with a rose petal popcorn salt rim
    • Named after the renowned Mexican Painter Frida Khalo
    • One of the ingredients, Casa Dragones Tequila, is a premium tequila brand founded by the first woman to be certified as a Maestra Tequilera (or Master Tequilera), Bertha Gonzalez Nieves.

The Polite Pig

The family-run barbecue eatery is in Town Center.

  • Blackened and Smoked Mahi Mahi Salad
    • Tangy arugula, sweet purple lettuce, mandarin oranges, grilled sweet peppers, and roasted macadamia nuts, with a lemongrass and dill vinaigrette, and a blackened, smoked, seasoned and spiced Mahi Mahi filet on top

City Works Eatery & Pour House

You can find this sports bar at the West Side of Disney Springs.

Vivoli il Gelato

The original location of Vivoli’s is in Florence, Italy, since 1930. This Disney Springs location, one of two in the United States, is located in The Landing.

Disney Springs Vacations

Staying at a hotel near Disney Springs makes it very convenient to visit the complex during your Disney World trip.

Disney Resorts Near Disney Springs

If you’d like to stay at an onsite Disney World hotel, your best options are the ones with boat transportation to Disney Springs:

In addition to the boats to Disney Springs, those 4 hotels are also part of the Walt Disney World bus transportation system. So you’ll be able to go back and forth to the Disney theme parks during park hours (starting with 45 minutes before a park opens until an hour after it closes).

Official Disney Springs Hotels

The following are official Disney Springs hotels and are all within walking distance (though the walks vary in length depending on exact location). They also have shuttles to the Disney parks, but they tend to run less frequently than if you were staying at a Disney World resort.

You don’t need a ticket for Disney Springs – but you do need a ticket to the theme parks.
