Planning a Walt Disney World trip? Want to save money on your vacation? Let us help you by telling you which websites have the lowest prices for WDW hotels!
And by low, this is all relatively speaking. There really aren’t cheap prices for Disney World hotels. But you will be surprised by how much money you can save by booking through these websites versus paying through Disney’s website. This will allow you to afford staying onsite during your Disney World trip, which we find is preferable to staying offsite (just check out these Disney World hotel benefits!).
Here are the top 10 websites I use when planning a Walt Disney World vacation:
- David’s Vacation Club Rentals: The best way to save money during a Walt Disney World trip, hands down, is to book a DVC rental (for more information on what this, please see here). By doing this, I have been able to stay at top Disney World Resorts (like Polynesian Village, Bay Lake Tower at Contemporary Resort, Animal Kingdom Lodge & the Beach Club, to name a few) for a fraction of the price. I highly recommend using David’s Vacation Club Rentals, as I have always had great experiences with David’s Vacation Club Rentals.
- Priceline: The next best place to go other than David’s is Priceline. You can book Disney World hotels for rates better than what you can get on Disney’s website even with a passholder discount! It is my favorite website to use for non-DVC hotels. I have booked stays here at hotels like Art of Animation, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans: Riverside, and All Star Sports.
- Undercover Tourist: I have also gotten great rates through Undercover Tourist. I have had especially good luck here getting a good rate for Port Orleans: French Quarter, which is great because it is one of the smaller hotels at Walt Disney World so it tends to have less availability and less great deals. You can also bundle your hotel with Disney World theme park tickets, which can also save you money.
- CheapTickets: I have also booked Port Orleans: French Quarter at a good rate through CheapTickets, which is another website where you can bundle your hotel to save money. In this case, you would be bundling your hotel stay with a flight, so this only saves you money if you are flying into Orlando.
- Apple Vacations: But if you are flying into Orlando, you can save money on your hotel by bundling it with your flight through Apple Vacations as well.
- Hotels.com: Another way to save money on your hotel is through Hotels.com. I’ve had good luck finding great rates for Disney hotels through Hotels.com, especially for a standard Little Mermaid room at Art of Animation Resort (which is hard to find).
- Tripster: Like Undercover Tourist, you can save money on your hotel stay by bundling your hotel with your tickets on the website Tripster. You can also bundle your hotel stay with tickets for other Orlando attractions, such as Universal Orlando or SeaWorld Orlando tickets. Additionally, Tripster features discounts on Disney hotels, such as a current deal for $186 off a night at the Contemporary Resort.
- Be Our Guest Vacations: You can also book your hotel with your tickets – and with your Universal Orlando tickets – through Be Our Guest Vacations. Please note they require a minimum vacation package of $1,000.
- Trivago: I have consistently found good deals using Trivago. They compare multiple websites to find the lowest prices, so that’s how you know you’re getting the lowest price.
- Kayak: Like Trivago, Kayak compares multiple websites to find the lowest prices. So if I still have found not found a great rate with one of the above websites, I like to do a search through Kayak to see if I can get an even lower price.
