Whiskey enthusiasts will be gathering at the Royal Oak Farmers Market on Saturday, February 26, 2022 for the Royal Oak Whiskey Fest. The Fest will connect whiskey lovers with great whiskey.
The evening will be dedicated to sampling Japanese whiskey, rye, Scotch whiskey, Canadian and American liquors, Kentucky bourbon and flavored whiskeys from different countries. Tempt your taste buds with unique whiskeys from around the world.
Commercial distilleries began introducing whiskey made from rye and wheat in the late 18th century. This beautiful amber liquid has captivated people for centuries and whiskeys are loved the world over.
The whiskey flavor ranges from earthy and smoky to spicy and bold. Many love whiskey as a drink served neat. It can also be appreciated with your favorite mixer or try it in a new cocktail. At the Whiskey Fest, you can explore all these options. You might even find a new way to imbibe or a new favorite whiskey.
A General Admission ticket gives you admission into the Fest at 7 pm. You’ll have 10 drink sample tickets, a keepsake photo and a commemorative rocks glass.
A VIP Admission ticket includes all that plus early entry at 6 pm with sampling opportunities and 15 drink sample tickets.
Detroit’s premiere cover band, Cosmic Groove, will be playing at the Whiskey Fest. Enjoy hearing music from the 50s, Disco, Jazz, Hip Hop, R&B to current hits from this eight piece band. Games will also be played at the Fest.
