Breaking Disney World news: Walt Disney World has announced an opening date for the Disney Skyliner system!
Guests will be able to start riding the gondolas on September 29, 2019.
This new transportation method connects 2 theme parks (Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot) to 4 Disney hotels (Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and the new Disney’s Riviera Resort, which opens December 2019).
Some Skyliner cabins will feature characters and elements from Disney films & attractions, including:
- Mickey Mouse
- Minnie Mouse
- Chip & Dale
- Pluto
- Goofy
- Pete
- Horace Horsecollar
- Clarabelle Cow
- Haunted Mansion
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Monsters, Inc
- Ratatouille
- Coco
- Finding Dory
