You don’t have to be in Ireland to enjoy a great St. Patrick’s Day celebration.  In fact, all you have to do is go to Florida!  This year, there are tons of great St. Patty’s Day celebrations all over Florida.  We go over some of our favorites.

1. River O’Green Fest

River O’Green Fest is a free event in Tampa’s Downtown Area on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Hillsborough River will be transformed into a bright shade of green!  Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park will also have lots of great activities like:

2. SeaWorld’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

SeaWorld theme park in Orlando, Florida has a great St. Patrick’s Day celebration this weekend.  There’ll be great Irish craft brews from Dublin, Ireland, and Clonmel, Ireland, great Irish food (we recommend the Guinness Beef Stew by the way), great Irish music, and more.  You can find out more in our SeaWorld St. Patrick’s Day Guide.

3. St. Paddy’s Day Delight

The Village of Baytowne Wharf in Miramar Beach is an entertainment center with restaurants, boutiques, and nightlife hotspots.  The whole village is located inside Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay in Northwest Florida.  And they’ll be hosting a St. Paddy’s Day Delight- Paint the Village Green event on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.  It will feature Live Music from Shenanigans, performances from Carpenter Academy of Irish Dance, and more.  Find out more about this event here.

4. St. Patrick’s Day Festival

The City of Port St. Lucie Parks & Recreation Department has joined forces with The Friendly Sons & Daughters of Ireland to present a festival celebrating St. Patrick and Irish Culture at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center.  It’s so great it takes place over two days.  The first date is Friday, March 17, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 10: PM, and Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.  The parade starts the festivities on Saturday at 11:00 AM.

Other highlights of the festival include:

5. St. Patrick’s Day Riverfront Festival

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on the new River!  St. Patrick’s Day Riverfront Festival takes place at The Wharf Fort Lauderdale on Friday, March 17th, 2023.  They’ve got live entertainment and music.  They also have great drink specials, like how you can buy a shot of any Irish Whiskey and then you can get free Harp Lager all day!

6. St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival

This St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival takes place the day after St. Patty’s Day, on Saturday, March 18.  It takes place in Historic Downtown Inverness.  Not only is there a parade but there’s also a Fairy & Leprechaun Costume contest!  You can also shop at the local businesses and find out what’s happening at all the restaurants.  You can find more about the event here.

7. St. Patrick’s Day Street Party Celebration

Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Sunset Walk and The Residences at Margaritaville Resort Orlando are presenting an Outdoor Street Party Celebration for St. Patrick’s Day this year.  It takes place at the Promenade at Sunset Walk in Kissimmee, Florida on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 2:00 to 11:30 PM.  A highlight of this event is nonstop music with Def Lepprechaun, DJ K1X, and DJ Scotty B.  There will also green food and green beverage specials, street performers, and perhaps some lucky leprechauns.  Admission is free and you can RSVP here.

8. Meg O’Malley’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival

Meg O’Malley’s Irish Pub in Melbourne, Florida is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day all this week.  It leads up to the St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival that takes place on St. Patty’s Day starting at 8:00 AM.  You can enjoy free entertainment all day and night on St. Patrick’s Day including Irish Step Dancers and Bagpipers.  Then on Saturday, there will be a St. Patrick’s Parade presented by the Ancient Order of Hibernians starting at 10:30 AM.  Read more about the week here.

9. Miracle Mile St. Patrick’s Day Festival

The biggest St. Patrick’s Day festival is back in Coral Gables!  JohnMartin’s Irish Pub’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival takes place on March 17, 2023, from 4:00 PM to midnight on the streets of Miracle Mile and Salzedo.  This festival features bar stations, live entertainment, live bands, food, drink specials, games, and more.  Find out more about this event here.

10. St. Paddy’s Day Block Party

St. Paddy’s Day Block Party takes on Friday (St. Patrick’s Day!) from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. at Riverfront Shops of Daytona Beach.  This free event is located on Beach Street in Downtown Daytona Beach, Florida.  This St. Patty’s Day event includes Irish food and drink, live music, and more.  Find out more about this party here.

11. Oviedo’s St Patrick’s Day Festival

The city of Oviedo, Florida along with Guinness present a St. Patrick’s Day Festival this year on March 17th from 5:00 to 9:00 PM and March 18th from 4:00 to 10:00 PM.  This St. Patty’s weekend event has something for adults and children.  They’ve made it family-friendly with face painting and stilt-walker balloon artists.  Kids are even encouraged to dress up.

There’s entertainment everyone can enjoy like Irish Step Dancers and live Irish entertainment like Paddy O Furniture, Fiddler & Crossroads, Bangers & Mash, and The Byrne Brothers.  There are also food trucks selling unique Irish cuisine.

But don’t worry.  This festival has something for just us adults ages 21 and over.  There are (as I’m sure you’ve guessed by now) alcoholic beverages available as they have Guinness, Smithwicks, and Harp on draft.  You can purchase a beer punch card.

12. Raglan Road’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Raglan Road is one of my favorite restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.  It is located in Disney Springs, the entertainment district of Disney World which is (shockingly for Disney) free of charge to visit.  We’ve reviewed the restaurant here.

Since Raglan Road is an Irish restaurant and pub, it is only fitting they’ll have a great St. Patty’s Day celebration.  It takes place from March 16th to March 19th.  Highlights of the festival include award-winning imported Irish bands and performances by the Raglan Road Irish Dancers.  You can read more about the event here.

13. Corey Avenue St. Patrick’s Day Block Party

Corey Avenue in St. Pete Beach, Florida is having their annual St. Patrick’s Day Block Party on Friday, March 17, 2023.  Live bands will start at 11:00 AM and include Sandy Bottom Boys, Bad Neighbors, and Beach Rats.  You can enjoy refreshments during the day from local bars like Swigwam Beach Bar, Twisted Tiki Bar, Chill Restaurant and Bar, and Grapes Wine Cafe.  There’s also corn hole, raffles, corned beef, and more.  Find out more about the block party here.

14. St. Patrick’s Riverside Festival

Celebrate St. Patrick’s on the Miami River at The Wharf Miami’s St. Patrick’s Riverside Festival!  This event full of fun entertainment, great music, and free Harp Lager with a purchase of a shot of Irish Whiskey.  Learn more about the riverside festival here.

15. Frankie Farrell’s Pub and Grille St. Patrick’s Day Event

Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at an Irish pub just feels right.  And you can do that at Frankie Farrell’s Pub and Grille.  Frankie Farrell’s is located in Orlando, Florida at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa.  They’ll be handing out swag all day as well as serving green beer and specialty cocktails.

16. St Patrick’s Day at Fionn MacCool’s

Fionn MacCool’s Irish Pub & Restaurant in Ponte Vedra, Florida is holding a great St. Patrick’s event this year.  Highlights include green beer, Irish dancers, live music, and more.  Find out more about this event here.

17. Hogan’s Pub St. Patrick’s Day Event

Hogan’s Pub is an authentic, family Irish pub in Cocoa, Florida.  They’re holding their first annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration this year.  It will be taking place all weekend starting on Thursday.  They’ll have live entertainment including musicians directly from Ireland.  Some performers include Finéinn Quinn & In Tune traditional Irish music, Damion Suomi live Irish music, Irish disco with DJ Fineinn, and Magennis Academy of Irish Dance.  Learn more about this pub event here.
