Best Florida Wine Festivals

Florida is a great place to visit for great weather, beaches, and theme parks.  But it’s also a great place to go if you love wine.  This is because Florida has a lot of great wine festivals.  So we came up with a list of the best Florida wine festivals.  We also provide you with some great tips for how to save money at these festivals!

1. Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival

Location

Tampa, Florida

Dates

February 29, 2020 through April 26, 2020

Why It’s Great

This is the sixth annual Food & Wine Festival at Busch Gardens theme park in Tampa, Florida.  It features over 80 fine wines, craft brews and featured cocktails.  There are also a lot of delicious dishes from different cuisine.  Some of the different themed stations include NOLA Eats, Southern Kitchen, and West Coast Catch.  There are also concerts, too.  And it’s included in the cost of theme park addition, which you can buy here at a discounted rate here.  To learn more about this Food & Wine Festival, click here.

2. EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival

Location

Orlando, Florida

Dates

August 2020 through November 2020

Why It’s Great

The World Showcase at Epcot at Walt Disney World is a great place to learn about new cultures of the world.  But let’s be honest.  A lot of people just visit for the wine.  And with the great wine there, who can blame them?  Especially during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival that takes place every year in the fall.

There are stations throughout the park where you can purchase and drink delicious wine.  There are wines (as the name would imply) from all over the world.  For example, last year you could have Florida Orange Groves Sparkling Pineapple Wine, Bunratty Meade Honey Wine, and Chateau Des Charmes Vidal Icewine.  You can see a list of all the things available at the festival here.  You can also purchase wine from prestigious makers at the Festival Center Wine Shop.  There’s also a craft wine shop, wine seminars, and souvenir wine glasses for sale.

Here’s a video from last year’s Food & Wine Festival:

If you are interested in visiting, then you might want to stay at a hotel that’s within walking distance of the World Showcase section of Epcot.  We tell you how to do this at a significantly discounted price here.

3. Seven Seas Food Festival

Location

Orlando, Florida

Dates

February 7, 2020 through May 3, 2020

Why It’s Great

Wine may not be in the name of the festival, but it will certainly be there!  There are 50+ Wines & Spirits at the Seven Seas Food Festival.  It takes place on the weekends at SeaWorld theme park in Orlando.  As the name would imply, there are wines themed to different places across the world.  You could sample anything from Oregon Pinot Grigio to Caposaldo Pinot Grigio to Trivento White Orchid Torrontes.

In addition to the wine, there are also 70+ Craft Brews and some really delicious food.  This is actually my favorite food festival in Florida.  You can learn more about it here.  And you can check out our video from last year’s festival:
