Disney Jollywood Nights is a special holiday event that will take place on select nights in November and December at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park.

It started a few years ago, and is a great second Christmas party to attend during a Walt Disney World trip during the holidays.

My family has attended every year of the event, and we absolutely loved it every time.

Today, we’re going to go over what to expect at Jollywood Nights, how to get tickets, and more!

When is Disney Jollywood Nights?

If you’d like to attend Disney Jollywood Nights this year, you can choose from 13 different nights.

Disney Jollywood Nights in November 2026

  • Saturday, November 7
  • Saturday, November 14
  • Monday, November 16
  • Saturday, November 21
  • Monday, November 23
  • Saturday, November 28

Disney Jollywood Nights in December 2026

  • Saturday, December 5
  • Monday, December 7
  • Saturday, December 12

  • Wednesday, December 23

Disney Jollywood Nights in January 2027

  • Sunday, January 3

Each night, the event will be held from 7:30 PM to 12:30 AM.

You can arrive as early as 5:30 PM!

Disney Jollywood Nights Tickets

Even though we know a lot about the upcoming 2026 Jollywood Night events, tickets are not on sale just yet.  But guests of select Disney World hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase their tickets early beginning July 9, 2026.  This is one of the perks of staying on-site; you can find other Disney World hotel perks here.

How to save money on your dream Disney trip

Everyone else can start purchasing tickets on July 22, 2025.

What do you get when you combine the elegance and splendor of vintage Hollywood TV specials, holiday magic, and a contemporary twist?

You get Disney Holidays in Hollywood!

This musical variety show, hosted by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, takes place at Theater of the Stars. Along with singers, dancers, and live jazz musicians, the show features appearances by guests like Belle, Tiana, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Tiana will even be performing a brand new original song!

This is an absolute must-see for us at Green Vacation Deals.  It is our favorite part of Jollywood Nights!

TIP: The last showing is a lot less crowded than the first.

What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along

Let Jack Skellington take you on a dreamlike exploration of the cult classic movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. This special sing-along takes place at The Hyperion Theater.  It is a lot of fun, especially if you love the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas like I do.

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!

Showtime: T.B.A.

If you’ve missed Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!, you’re in luck – this nighttime firework and special effects show returns, but only for Disney Jollywood Nights. (Prior to 2020, the show was held at night in Hollywood Studios during the holiday season.)

And if you’ve never seen the show before, you’ll be able to see projections from Disney films on the side of the Chinese Theater, as well as fireworks, lasers, and lights. And of course, it’s all set to festive music!

“Glisten!” Skating Show

Showtimes: T.B.A.

Back this year is the ice skating show on a synthetic rink in front of the Chinese Theater.  World-class skaters will perform an ice show set to popular and original holiday tunes.  The show also includes projections and an Art Deco style.

The Twilight Soirée at the Tip-Top Club

This exclusive event takes place at The Tip-Top Club in the Hollywood Tower Hotel courtyard. Sip on fancy cocktails as you listen to live holiday music.  You’ll feel as if you’re in a 1930s-style jazz lounge.

Jazzy Holidays

The Hollywood Brown Derby, a popular restaurant at the theme park, will be transformed into a smooth jazz lounge! Enjoy light bites and craft cocktails as well as holiday tunes, sparkling decor, and an upscale ambiance.

Pixar Disco

Who doesn’t want to enjoy a dance party starring Edna Mode from The Incredibles?  You get just that at Pixar Plaza.  Oh, and other Pixar favorites will make appearances, such as Mike Wazowski, Joy, and more!

During the nighttime event, you can ride some of the theme park’s attractions.  This includes popular rides like:

Character Experiences

A fun part about Jollywood Nights is how many character appearances there are!  Some of them you may remember from last year.  Some of these are rare character experiences that you won’t normally see at the parks.  And for some of us, it will be wonderful reminders of our childhoods watching the Disney Channel.

We don’t know every character who will be there.  But here are some of the characters you’ll see:

Disney Jollywood Nights FAQ

Do you need a park ticket for Disney Jollywood Nights?

You do NOT need a park ticket for Disney Jollywood Nights. All you need is an event ticket – not a park ticket or park reservation. You only need a park ticket and park reservation if you want to enter Hollywood Studios earlier than 5:300 PM. (Remember, the party starts at 7:30 PM, but party guests can enter the park up to two hours early.)

Should I enter the park early (at 5:30 PM) before the party?

While you don’t have to enter the park early, it’s a good idea to arrive before 7:30 PM. The entrance will be pretty crowded around 7:30 PM, so it’s a way to escape those crowds and long lines.

And if you don’t have tickets for any park on the same day as Jollywood Nights, then this is a nice way to enjoy some extra time for “free”. You can relax and enjoy the atmosphere, or maybe get some dinner in Hollywood Studios before the event begins.

I definitely recommend eating dinner beforehand so you don’t have to “waste” any event time on eating a full meal. But you might want to consider a light meal so you can save room for some of the delicious treats at Jollywood Nights!
